Get Financial Assistance with Home Repairs

Our Housing Rehabilitation Program provides financial assistance to income eligible homeowners for making needed repairs on owner-occupied homes. Financial assistance is provided in the form of a loan. We have three service providers that serve the needs of seniors and those with special needs whose homes require barrier removal. Hillsborough County also has one main provider that manages the Owner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program in Hillsborough County which is available to all eligible applicants.
Homes must be located in unincorporated Hillsborough County, which is outside the City of Tampa, and the applicant must have lived in their home for two years.
