Don't Flush It!

Items like baby wipes, cotton balls and dental floss may be labeled as "flushable" but they are not.

These items don't dissolve like regular toilet paper. They can stay in your pipes, eventually building up and resulting in costly plumbing repairs.

These giant clogs feed off baby wipes, cotton balls, and everything else that is labeled “flushable” but really isn’t. Clogg monsters will back up sewer systems, leaking sewage onto your street, and clog your plumbing costing you hundreds in repairs.

Our crews have reported sightings of clog monsters at least twice every day.

Don't flush these items:

  • Baby and/or adult cleaning wipes
  • Paper towels
  • Dental floss
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Cotton swabs
  • Hair
  • Bandages
  • Medications
  • Cat litter

Student Video Contest

Congratulations to students at Strawberry Crest High School for taking first place in the 2021 Florida Water Environmental Association and Water Environment Federation Water Palooza video contests. Their public service announcement creatively explained what does or does not belong down our toilets.
