Find all the information you need to know on childcare licensing consultation classes for both child care homes and centers.

  1. Who needs to take the classes

    Any individual providing child care from their home

    • Required to take the Family Child Care Consultation class prior to initial licensing

    Owner and/or operator of a child care facility

    • Required to complete a part I and II of the Child Care Center Consultation class prior to initial licensing

    All first-time directors/operators

    • Required to complete part II of the Child Care Center Consultation class within 90 days of employment

  2. Consultation Classes Fees

    The fees for these consultation classes are:

    • Family Child Care Home Consultation
      • $40
    • Child Care Center Consultation
      • $60 for Parts I & II
      • $30 for Part II only
  3. How to sign up for the classes

    Fill out the appropriate application and mail it along with the payment to:

    Payment must be in the form of a check or money order made payable to B.O.C.C.

  4. What happens after signing up

    Once we receive the application and payment, we will process your request and register you for the next available consultation classs.

    Classes are held online via webinar. You will receive an email with a link for the class approximately one week prior to the scheduled class.
